vocaloid "Vocaloid" is short for "Vocal Android", which is a software that allows you to imput lyrics, and the program itself will then, sing them back to you. The program became very famous after Crypton released Hatsune Miku (Vocaloid2) on August, 31st, 2007, mainly on the famous video sharing site Nico Nico Douga. The same year in December, two more Vocaloids were released, *known as Kagamine Rin and Kagamine Len (Only Rin was supposed to come out with her demo song, R-side, but a few days later, Len was announced as her twin brother with his demo, L-side, having the same seiyuu but made to be a boy's voice.
